The Soup Kitchen

The concept of soup kitchens hit the mainstream of U.S. consciousness during the Great Depression, during a time when each person did the very best to take care of their family, friends and even strangers. That generation really knew how to stretch a dollar! My recipe for Super Foods Soup below is easy, nutritious, delicious and filling – really, what more can you ask for?
Great for a last minute meal, the stews below are all low in fat, high in protein and vegetables all you need is to accompany it with a salad, rice or potato for a great healthy meal.
In deference and respect the now –famous “Soup Nazi” character from the Seinfeld series, we at L’Hermitage Gourmet Emporium have developed an all new line of freshly prepared soups and stews for you to easily pick up and bring home to enjoy.  With the cooler winter months approaching, it is always a great treat and a classic comfort food to savor any night of the week.  Buy several varieties to keep in your freezer. And like the “Soup Nazi” our soups are renowned for their excellent quality, but our customer service interactions are not at all like the show’s character. Listed below are our newest collections:
Soups:
Butternut Squash and Apple
Organic Carrot Ginger
Red Pepper and Gouda
Chicken Tortilla
Organic Tomato Basil
Lobster Bisque with Sherry
Lemongrass Chicken Noodle Soup
English Pea with Mint
